The 40th edition of the Nederlands Film Festival was a special edition, not only because of their birthday, but also because of COVID-19. Although the festival was very different from past years, we managed to create a form in which we could still celebrate Dutch film and filmmakers. I was Location Manager of the Stadsschouwburg during the festival and backstage manager during the Grolsch Gouden Kalveren Gala. Among other things I was responsible for managing the Assistent Location Managers, setting up the location, keeping an overview of the transport schedule, and making sure the COVID-19 measures were being followed.
